👉 गीत
जिस प्रकार ईश्वर की प्रार्थना या स्तुति संबंधी रचनाएं जिन्हें स्वर और ताल सहित गाया जाता है, को भजन कहते हैं उसी प्रकार काव्य की वे रचनाएं जो स्वर और ताल सहित गाई जाती है गीत कहलाती है। गीतों में भावों की प्रधानता होती है। इनमें मुख्य रूप से हर्ष, उल्लास और करुणा की भावनाएं विद्यमान रहती है। गीत, सुगम संगीत के अंतर्गत आते हैं इसलिए इनके गायन में किसी प्रकार का बंधन नहीं होता। गीत का मुख्य उद्देश्य जनसाधारण के मन को प्रसन्न करना होता है।
👉 लक्षण गीत
वह गीत जो किसी विशेष राग में गाया जाए तथा जिसके शब्दों से उस राग का पूरा परिचय मिले लक्षण गीत कहलाता है। लक्षण गीत के द्वारा हमें मुख्य रूप से राग में लगने वाले शुद्ध या कोमल स्वरों, थाट, वादी संवादी तथा गायन समय का पता लगता है।
👉सरगम गीत
किसी राग के स्वरों की वह रचना जो ताल सहित गाई जाती है सरगम गीत कहलाती है। सरगम गीत में शब्दों का प्रयोग नहीं होता इसके द्वारा राग में लगने वाले स्वरों का तथा उसके स्वरूप का ज्ञान प्राप्त हो जाता है। इसके गाने से राग के स्वरों का भी अभ्यास हो जाता है। सरगम गीत को स्वरमालिका भी कहते हैं।

A song which is sung in a particular raga and whose words give full introduction to that raga is called a symptom song. Symptoms: Through the song, we get to know the pure or soft vocals, theat, the speech conversational and the singing time used in the raga.
👉 sargam song
The composition of the melody of a raga which is sung with rhythm is called Sargam Geet. In Sargam song, words are not used, through this, knowledge of the vowels used in the raga and its form is acquired. The melody of the raga is also practiced by its songs. The song Sargam is also called Swaramalika.
